Not a bad effort for a Ludum Dare entry, understanding the difficulty in getting something out in the timeline this was a cool piece.

As a standalone however it (obviously) needs a little polish.

The gameplay was somewhat unique, I thought it was a cool concept but found most of my struggles were in remembering which colour areas matched with which shapes. I personally think it would have been more fun if the onscreen shape hints were also colour coded and the difficulty was more in fast paced swapping and well times actions. Alternatively showing all the areas that you can't currently walk in as red and the ones you can as green perhaps. Due to the instant 180s the guards could do the ones with the cone vision were also pretty annoying in a bad way because their vision would instantly appear on you if they happened to turn when you were behind them.

The music was a nice touch if not a little jarring, cool tone, but could be toned down a bit. Also felt it was weird that the sound effect used to indicate death was also just randomly within the gameplay score.

Nice Game

This game is a good bit of fun, I really enjoyed it and it had quite and interesting style of game play. The art was nice and so were the sounds.

One annoying thing about the game is if you have a unti selected then it gets converted then you click to select one of your characters it goes a bit funny like it's trying to fire at your character and not working.

Apart from that though, neat game, nice idea and it's really fun.

Potential

Not good but you have the potential to make something good. Try improving your graphics and having more depthy game play. Also if I shoot a man in the legs and blood comes out his head that doesn't mean I suck it means you didn't put enough effort in.

Keep trying, you'll get better.

Neat little game

Cool little point and click escape the room style game. It was a quick one and I'm sure it won't really challenge anyone too much but it was still okay. Graphically not bad either. I just question the necessity of the character, it's a point and click game I don't quite understand why you need the character walking around but then again it might look quite plain if he wasn't there.

Anyway neat little quicken, nothing super amazing.

Nothing much to do

Cool demo but really not much to do, wouldn't mind seeing the full one when it's done though, but you should have bigger platforms and wider hitspace for landing on the main character, I found myself falling down when I was close to half way on a platform making me believe you used shape flag on the bottom middle of the character, you should use two points slightly to each side, less frustrating for the player.

Can't wait for the full thing though looks like it would be good.

I tweaked the coding regarding how she touches the ground. Hoping it addresses the technical problems you picked up.

Reasonable Game

This game was alright I suppose for a quick one. I think my inability to play games well may have hindered my opinion so I have you an 8 even though I wanted to give you a 7 ;).

Anyway graphics were neat, I just wasn't so sure about some aspects of the coding. I felt the hitTests of the good guys and bad guys were too large, I think a few times pitchforks flew under my feet and I got injured anyway. Also I felt that the character was a little slow on the movement causing me to get frustrated when I got hit even though I was moving away from danger as quick as possible.

Some things to fix would be in the menu, I dislike how you must roll over the buttons to see what they are, additionally I didn't even understand what the yellow power up was doing for me.

On the plus side I really liked how simple, straight forward and quick the instructions were, points for that.

Anyway, good game guys, graphics were neat, game play was basic but not too bad. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the sort of "benefit of the doubt" extra point. Haha.

As for dodging. It takes a few tries to get used to predicting enemies.
Meteors fall faster then you can, so dodge to the sides.
Pitchforks fly faster than you, so dodge up and down.
All strategy my friend ;)

I suppose the menu thing is true. Good suggestion. I'll avoid that in other projects.
And I took care to make the most straight forward Tutorial I could. From my own experiance it is far less distracting, and makes it easier to get into the game.

Interesting

As a flash, this barely rates, just some text and custom library buttons slapped together but it does make for an interesting test. I was able to hear the age test sound without a problem, no suprises there, I am only 17 years old. However, I could not hear the intelligence test sound but I am not sure if I am about to take that as honest truth that I am not smart. I am in high rankings of academic strength at my school (i.e. Ranked in the top ten) and have participated in other tests of knowledge and have ranked above average all of these. I am just a little unaware of how a sound could rank a persons intelligence level. I am not immediately riding it off as a method I just cannot understand the correlation.

Also I have bad hearing, lol.

Oh yes. yes yes yes

This is what gaming is about!

Dude...

This is like a built in file that comes with flash. All you did was add some letters.

LOVERLY

I really enjoyed it once you changed it around a bit, very addictive and good fun.
